The St. Louis Arch & Cardinals vs. Cubs

Day #4-5 (August 4, 2022): After work, Chris picked us up from the Magic House, and the whole family went to the Gateway Arch, a super cool experience. The elevator-ferris wheel-like tram trip up and down is a unique experience. It feels a little sci-fi when the doors open for you to enter and take your seat. Of course, there are great views to see from the top of the arch across Illinois in one direction to the east and Missouri on the other side to the west. We then went to the St. Louis Cardinals game at Busch Stadium and enjoyed watching the Cardinals beat the Chicago Cubs 7-2.

Day 5 (August 5, 2022): St. Louis was fun, and an appropriate first stop, but we have to admit, we were all relieved to be leaving and moving on to our next stop after such a rocky, unnerving start to our trip! We traveled across the state of Missouri via I-70 W to Kansas City, MO.
